GET DIRECTIONS →Pad Thai is Thailand’s best-known noodle dish: flat rice noodles stir-fried fast over high heat with egg, aromatics and a sweet-sour-savory sauce, then finished with bean sprouts, crushed peanuts and green onion. It is not a soup and it is not a curry — the whole dish comes together in a wok in a couple of minutes, which is why the noodles stay springy rather than soft.
What separates one Pad Thai from another is the sauce and the heat of the pan. Everything else is technique.

Ours is item N1 on the Thai side of the menu, and it comes with your choice of protein. The Thai kitchen here runs as a full program rather than a short section bolted onto a Vietnamese menu — the same room also serves curries, stir-fries and a Thai Tom Yum Pho you will not find at a single-cuisine restaurant.
We are on Steilacoom Blvd SW in Lakewood, open every day, and you can order it online for pickup.

- What is the difference between Pad Thai and Pad See Ew?
- Pad Thai uses thin flat rice noodles in a sweet-sour-savory sauce, finished with bean sprouts, crushed peanut and green onion. Pad See Ew uses wide rice noodles in a darker, saltier soy-based sauce and is not sweet or sour. We serve both — Pad See Ew is item N3 on the same menu section, with egg, carrot and broccoli in our house special sauce.
- Is Pad Thai spicy?
- Pad Thai is not built on a heat scale the way our curries and stir-fries are. Our menu lists the 0–5 spice scale on the Thai curries, the Thai stir-fries and the fried rice — not on the noodle dishes. If you want yours adjusted, tell us when you order, or call (253) 267-1637 and ask.
- What protein comes with Pad Thai?
- The dish is served with your choice of protein. Choose when you order online, or call and tell us.
- Is Pad Thai gluten free?
- We cannot confirm that. Rice noodles contain no wheat, but sauces and a shared wok are a different question and we have not had ours tested. If you are avoiding gluten, please call (253) 267-1637 and ask before you order — we would rather answer the question than guess at it.
